OPAL Transfer gives an opportunity to transfer money to Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan not requiring a bank account by means of the unique transaction code.

              The cost of the service is 1% of the amount being transferred

This service is available in OPAL Transfer offices and in any place in UK or from your home using Internet-banking.

To transfer money from your home using Internet-banking sender needs:

1. Transfer your money to OPAL Transfer account from your bank account opened in any UK bank:

2. Phone OPAL Transfer Call Centre: RUSSIAN or ENGLISH line 020 7976 5445;

3. Give the operator the recipient’s details.

To transfer money from OPAL Transfer office a sender needs:

1. To make a request in the nearest OPAL Transfer offices;

2. Provide the operator of the office with the following information:

• receiver’s first name and surname (according to the name in the passport), for Russia and Uzbekistan patronymic name is also required;
• the amount of money being transferred;
• recipient’s country and town;

To transfer money from any other place in UK a sender needs:

1. Pay in money into Opal Transfer bank account in nearest BARCLAYS branch:

2. Phone OPAL Transfer Call Centre: RUSSIAN or ENGLISH line 020 7976 5445;

3. Give the operator the recipient’s details.

Money can be received on the next business day either in US dollars or in EU Euros (at the recipient’s discretion).

Important information

• If the money sent to the recipient’s bank is not claimed for the period of 30 calendar days, it would be sent back to the account of OPAL Transfer
• Without proof of ID an amount of money up to £700 per day can be sent (but not more than £1500 in total for 30 calendar days). If the amount of money to be transferred is more than the mentioned above the customer must present his/her ID.
